Global Configuration allows you to set a number of values which influence how your URLs are built, define your Website Code Type, as well as control how your outgoing emails will appear. You can access Global Configuration by navigating to Settings > Global Configuration.
Outgoing Email Configuration
Website Display Name
Used for website name in outgoing emails.
Website URL
Defines the website URL to be displayed in outgoing email.
From Address
Defines the from address in which the email appears to be sent from.
Reply Address
Defines the reply address in which the email can be replied to.
Support Email
Defines the support email which can be used within email templates to reference the support email address.
Website Error Emails
Defines where website error emails should be sent to.
Moderation From Address
Defines the from address in moderation email templates in which the email appears to be sent from.
Moderation Reply Address
Defines the reply address in moderation email templates in which in email can be replied to.
Moderation BCC Address
Defines the bcc address in moderation email templates – a copy will be sent to this address
Language Configuration
Default Language
Defines the default language that should be used when visitors first access a website.
Language Code in URL
Defines whether or not to include the current language code in the URL path. For example: http://www.mysite.com/en-us/path/page.aspx
Website Code Type
Defines which framework of website code is being used. Options are either MVC or WebForms. This will influence the Module Definition Output Template options.
Extensionless URLs
Check this box if you website is coded to support URLs without the .aspx extension.
Most MVC sites support this by default.
