When you specify a Production Domain, this enables features that allow you to test URL redirections and simplifies viewing various environments for editors.

How to Set an Existing Domain as Your Production Domain
If your domain has already been set up or if you have multiple domains, you can verify which domain is set as your current production domain. You will also be able to set your production domain to the domain of your choice.
First, on the left-hand navigation, you'll want to click on Settings
Next, under Site Configuration, click on Domain Configuration
Click onto your Website to open up Domain Configuration Details
Click onto your domain to open up Channel Domain Details. Here, you will be able to set your Preview and Production Domain
Click Save to view the domains that have been set. Click Save again and you're done!
How to Add a New Production Domain
First, on the left-hand navigation, you'll want to click on Settings
Next, under Site Configuration, click on Domain Configuration
Click onto your Website to open up Domain Configuration Details and click on the (+) icon
Click onto your domain to open up Channel Domain Details
Name: Enter the Name of your environment (i.e. Live/Stage/UAT)
Domain URL: This will be your full URL to your homepage http://{your-website}/)
Default Path: In most cases, this is left blank unless your site is under a virtual directory. Here is where you can choose whether you would like this environment to be your default Preview Domain.
*Please Note*: You may only have on default preview domain
Once your Domain Configuration has been updated, you can view this on the Page's Dashboard
